KOELBL, Veronica M.

Veronica M. Koelbl, 96, of La Crosse, Wis., died Sat. March 31, 2012, in St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Center, La Crosse, Wis. She was born in Altura, Minn., on Sept. 23, 1915, to John B. and Virginia (Frisch) Kronebusch. She married Howard Koelbl on Aug. 8, 1942, in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Altura, Minn.

She is survived by one sister; Virginia Ann (Clarence) Scherbring of Rollingstone, MN. , and one sister-in-law; Lucille Kronebusch of Prior Lake, MN. , and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard on December 24, 1990, her parents, three sisters  , Ursula Kronebush,  Adeltude Schultz and Mildred Lethert, and four brothers Norbert, Richard, Steve, and Paul Kronebusch.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 130 Losey Blvd. So., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. David Olson will officiate with entombment to be held in the St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass in the church on Wednesday.

In lieu flowers to please direct memorials to the Blessed Sacrament School Library.
