Sophie Marie Doering, infant daughter, passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis. She was born in La Crosse, Wis., on May 1, 2017, to Sarah Wantoch and John Doering.

She is survived by her parents; Sarah Wantoch and John Doering of La Crescent, Minn., her Maternal grandparents; Lois (Shawn) Becker of La Crosse, Wis., and Ted Wantoch of Onalaska, Wis., her Paternal grandparents; Dennis and Rose Doering of Brownsville, Minn. She is further survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other family and friends. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center for their compassion and dedication to the care of precious Sophie.

Prayer services will be held at 6:30PM Monday, May 8, 2017, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis., Rev. Tom Schultz will officiate. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until the time of services in the funeral home on Monday.

The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
