Ruth A. Spacek

Ruth Ann Spacek, 84, of La Crosse, died on Monday, December 4, 2023, in Mayo Hospital - La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on May 8, 1939, to Fred and Freda (Veglahn) Garske. She married Bob Spacek on February 20, 1982.

Ruth is survived by her husband Bob Spacek; daughter Jeri and Jeff, of Tennessee; two sons, Jim (Cindy) Phelps, of La Crosse, and Jay (Cheryl) Phelps of Paige, AZ. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Sandra and Katherine, and her siblings Betty, Jan and Fred.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, on Friday, December 15, 2023, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1333 13^th Street South. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate with a private family interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at Church on Friday.
