Robert L. Spacek

Robert L. Spacek, 86, of La Crosse, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Brookdale Memory Care - La Crosse. He was born in La Crosse on January 31, 1939, to Louis and Rose (Schrabeck) Spacek. He married Ruth Garske on February 20, 1982.

Bob is survived by his daughter Lisa Hengstl; sister Carol Hoeft; stepdaughter Jeri and Jeff, of Minnesota; two stepsons, Jim (Cindy) Phelps, of La Crosse, and Jay (Cheryl) Phelps of Page, Arizona.,. He is also survived by 14 step grandchildren and 1 great-step grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, his parents, son Rob.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00, on Tuesday, May, 6, 2025 at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South, La Crosse. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate with a private family inurnment to take place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 am, until the time of the Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the La Crosse Eagles Club 1254, 630 6th Street S.
