Richard T. Limberg

Richard T. Limberg, 84, of Brookfield WI, formerly of La Crosse WI, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Auberge at Brookfield Memory Care facility. He was born in La Crosse on November 15, 1939, to Frank and Marion Limberg. He married Beverly La Sarge on June 30, 1962. 

Richard enjoyed raising his family and spending time with them in Hayward WI and in Canada. He also loved to spend time in the wilderness with his kids while hunting and fishing and going to yard sales. When he wasn’t enjoying the outdoors, he would sit in his recliner while reading and listening to the oldies. 

He is survived by his children, two daughters, Lori (John) Barendsen and Chelle (Mike) Scott; six sons, Duane (Lisa), Kevin, Keith, Kent (DeAnna), Kurt (Vedrana) and Danny (Debra); eleven grandchildren, Cliff Barendsen, Isaac Barendsen, Matthew Limberg, Michael (Mallory) Limberg, Jessica (Derek) Doller, Jacob Limberg, Terol Swenson, Torey (Melissa) Seiler, Thane Seiler, Ashley Limberg and Cassandra Limberg; great-grandchildren, Landon, Liam and Alannah Seiler and Deklen Doller; one brother, Eugene Limberg; four sister-in-law’s, Louise Limberg, Helen LaSarge, Barb Peterson, and Trudy Brieske; brother-in-law’s, Vernon Romskog and Jim (Kathy) LaSarge, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse Beverly in 2016, one brother and two sisters. 

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South, La Crosse. Entombment and prayer service will follow the visitation, at La Crosse Catholic Cemetery.
