Richard D. Nelson

Richard D. Nelson, 67, of La Crosse, Wis., died Friday, August 16, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. He was born in Osseo, Wis., on November 25, 1945 to Raymond and Jennie (Gilbertson) Nelson.

He is survived by his one sister Joan Nimmo and her children, Rhonda (Brian) Olson, Scott (Lisa) Nimmo, and several nephews and nieces. He is also survived by one brother; Roger (Tina) Nelson.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers; Darvin and Steven, and his nephew Forrest Nimmo.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday August 20, 2013, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home Nelson Chapel 1007 Caledonia St., La Crosse, Wis., with burial to be held in North Branch Cemetery, in Osseo. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 until the time of services.
