Raymond D. McDaniel

Raymond Dale McDaniel, Age 70, of La Crosse and formerly of Black River Falls, passed away suddenly January 14, 2015 in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. He was born in LaFarge on January 10, 1945 to Clarence and Elnora (Morgan) McDaniel. He married Susan Syverson on October 18, 1993 in La Crosse.

Dale’s interests include Racing, hunting, scrapping, fishing, joking around, cooking, and playing cards, pool, and bingo. He always was there to give good advice; he had strong values, and always appreciated the good he saw in people.

He is survived by his Wife Susan, his Daughters Crystal McDaniel of La Crosse, Danielle (Tom) Phillips of La Crosse; one son, Shawn (Kim) Neary of Viola, four Grandchildren; Memory McDaniel, Michael Cloyd, Malorie Olson, and Raymond Phillips. He is also survived by his sister Rose (Toby) Biehl of La Crosse, two brothers; James (Maureen) McDaniel of Amberg, Wis., and Fred McDaniel of La Crosse, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and many close relatives.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday January 18, 2015 at Blaschke and Schneider Funeral Homes, 1501 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday January 19, 2015 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Blair, Wis. Rev. Joshua Knudsen will officiate. A celebration of life will be held between 12:00 and 4:00 PM Monday following burial at the Myrick Park Eco Center in La Crosse.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Dale’s family.
