Pia Simone Zwibel

Pia Simone Zwibel, five weeks old, of La Crosse, WI, died on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her home with her family at her side.

Pia proved that great joy comes from babies who have trisomy 18. She brought great grace to her family’s life and others.

Pia was born on October 8, 2022, to Edward and Jennifer Zwibel in La Crosse.

She is survived by her parents, grandparents, ten siblings, and many extended family and friends.

Pia was preceded in death by four siblings in heaven.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Pia at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery in La Crosse.

Blaschke and Schneider Funeral Home in La Crosse is assisting the family with arrangements.
