WOLLE, Philip A.

Philip A. Wolle, 82, of La Crosse, Wis., died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in St. Joseph Rehab Center, La Crosse, Wis. He was born in La Crosse, Wis., on July 6, 1929, to John and Caroline (Ederer) Wolle. He married Mildred Mary Jane Runde on July 28, 1954, in St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral, La Crosse, Wis.

Phil was a school teacher in Holcomb, Wis., Richland Center, Wis., and Kennewick, Wash. Philip enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and Classical Music.

He is survived by one sister Caroline (Donald) Pieper of La Crosse, Wis., and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Aug. 12, 2002, his parent’s, two brothers John and William Wolle.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 29,, 2012, in St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral, 530 Main St., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Charles Stoetzel will officiate with burial to be held in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass in the Cathedral on Friday.

The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials are preferred to St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral or Mayo Health System La Crosse.
