Patricia J. Reget, 79, of La Crosse passed away at home Monday, June 27, 2016, devotedly surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 30, 1936, in La Crosse, Wis., to George and Lorraine (Saultner) Mackie.

She graduated from Logan High School in 1954. During High School she met the love of her life, Edward D. Reget and they married on April 28, 1956. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2014.

She had a 30 plus year career with La Crosse County at Hillview Nursing Home and Oak Forest Nursing Home. Prior to that she worked at La Crosse Telephone, Gundersen Clinic and Park Lawn Nursing Home.

Pat is survived by their loving children; Susan Reget Ammerman, Tim (Peggy) Reget of Mindoro, David (Mary) Reget of La Crosse, Randy Reget of Onalaska, and Mary Ann (Chris) Peterson of Woodbury, MN, grandchildren; Jenna Colyer, Nick (Melissa) Ammerman, Katie (Nick) Johnson, Makayla, and Braydon Peterson, great grandchildren; Mason, Dominic, Sage, and Duke. Pat is also survived by 2 sisters; Mary (Jim) Ruetten of Atlanta, GA, Jayne (Steve) Lange of Minneapolis, MN, and brother Bill (Janie) Mackie of New Lisbon, WI, her aunt Germaine “Toots” Herrman of Marshfield and special cousin Rosanne Heller of Marshfield. She is also survived by her brother-in-laws; Richard (Eunice) Reget of Portland, WI, and Thomas Reget of La Crescent, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, special aunts and in-laws Robert and Cecilia Reget, Margaret and Rob Wittenberg, and Mary Jane Reget.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, from 5 to 7:00 PM at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South, La Crosse, WI. A burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery On Saturday July 2, at 10:00 AM. Meet at the chapel off La Crosse Street prior to 10:00 AM for processional to the gravesite.

Pat was a loving mother, wife, sister and a devoted grandmother, who loved to spend time with her family. She will be missed tremendously by her loved ones.
