Mary L. Clark

Mary L. Clark, 84, of La Crosse, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at her home. She was born in La Crosse, on March 14, 1937, to George and Marie (Fuchsteiner) Mekvold. She married John Clark on May 25, 1957, in St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church.

She graduated from Aquinas High School in 1955 and worked at Central High School as a Matron for 30 years. She loved the Green Bay Packers, getting together with her family and friends, taking mystery bus tours and bus trips down to the Fireside Theater, and the cruise her and John went on following his retirement.

Mary is survived by her husband John; three children, Peggy, Jim and Bill Clark, and her granddaughter Kasey Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Joe Clark.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 2006 Weston St., La Crosse. Rev. Brian D. Konopa will officiate, with burial to be held in Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at Church on Wednesday.
