Mary Kathleen Mills

Mary Kathleen Mills, 74, of Onalaska, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in La Crosse, Wis. She was born in La Crosse, Wis., on May 5, 1940, to Russell and Helen (Wiegel) Peacock.

She married Robert White and they later divorced. She then married Jack Mills on June 20, 1991.

She was a loving and generous wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who cared deeply about her family.  She shared her music talents early in her life and her sewing talent at work and with her family making many outfits, dresses, and Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren.  She loved to attend the events of her grandchildren and celebrations with family, and also loved her pets.

She is survived by her husband Jack of Onalaska, Wis., five children; Mark (Debra) White, Robert White, Scott (Amy) White, John White and Kathleen (Tony) Curtis. She is also survived by three step-children; “Jon (Son Yong) Mills, Matthew Mills, and Joy (Robert) Mills Crosby. She is further survived by nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her aunts and uncles.

A time of visitation and remembrance will be held from 3-5 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 for family and friends at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis. with a family memorial to follow.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may call from 3:00 PM until the time of services in the funeral home on Wednesday

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
