Mary Iverson

Mary E. Iverson passed away on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones in her home. She was born June 17th, 1947, in Costa Mesa, California to Paul and Nina Payne. She graduated from Logan High School in 1965 and furthered her education to receive a bachelors degree as a Registered Nurse.

She married Larry Iverson on March 6th, 1967. Together they had 2 sons, Donald and Sean, of LaCrosse.

She spent her career working in numerous facilities spending the last 16 years at Mayo Health Center as a Registered Nurse. Mary enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, traveling, camping, fishing, and loved bingo.

She is survived by her sons, Donald (Lorraine), and Sean, two grandsons, Joshua (Ashley) and Nicholas, two great grandchildren, Evergreen and Landon, brothers Mike (Darlene) Payne, Jeff Payne, Randy (Connie) Nagel sisters Janice Payne, and Wanda (Mark) Patzner, sisters-in-law, Donna Payne, Kathy Payne, and Norma Jean Payne, step-brothers, Myron( Diane) Nagel, Ed (Nola) Nagel, Willie(Arlene) Nagel , Jerry (Brenda) Nagel, Terry (Luba) Nagel, Tim (Tammy) Nagel, Charlie (JoAnn) Nagel and step-sister, Rachael (Stan) Breuer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry, brothers, Donald Payne, Jerry Payne, Norman Payne, and Tom Payne, and sister Linda (David) Miles, stepfather Pat Nagel, step brothers, David Nagel, Ronnie Nagel, step sisters, Sandy Goodrich and Donna DeGroot.

PLEASE NOTE TIME/DATE CHANGE:

Services for Mary will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 22nd at Blaschke Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave South, LaCrosse. Visitation will be held at 9:00 am until the time of service.

Interment will take place privately at North Beaver Creek Cemetery, Ettrick WI.
