Martha J. Becker, 91, of La Crosse, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Hillview Health Care Center. She was born on April 13, 1927 in Baraboo to Arnott and Pearl (Henderson) Angell. In 1945, she married Elmer Becker  in La Crosse.

Martha worked as a custodian at Viterbo University and eventually retired from UW-La Crosse. She volunteered for many years at Carroll Heights Senior Apartments. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards and loved visits with her son and his family.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law; Audrey Becker, two granddaughters; Amanda Becker and Kimberly (Dan) Kelk, two great-grandchildren; Owen and Elliot Kelk. She is also survived by four nieces; Barbara (David) Bauer, Susan (Gary) Webb, Janet (Darrel) Hanold, and Julie (Gus) Smallwood, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband; Elmer, one son; Jerry, two sisters; Margaret (Clarence) Brellethan and Betty Lou (Albert) Becker, one brother; Paul (Betty) Angell, and niece; Debbie (Dave) Dohve.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, June 8, 2018, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 612 Division Street, La Crosse, WI. After the service, officiated by Rev. Joanne Richmond, entombment will be  held at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the church from 11:30 AM until the time of services on Friday.
