Marian L. Reichgelt

Marian Louise Reichgelt passed away May 10, 2021 of natural causes at the age of 99. Born and raised in the Goosetown neighborhood of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Marian was a 1940 graduate of Central High School, where she met her husband, Robert John Reichgelt. Married in 1946 after Bob’s return from WWII, Marian raised one daughter; Lynn Weigel, and three sons; Richard, Robert Jr, and Ronnie, at their home at 2143 Park Ave, La Crosse. She was a lifelong member of the English Lutheran Church of La Crosse. In addition to being the mother of four children, she was the loving Grandmother of five; Tiffany Weigel Bartok, Timothy Reichgelt, Roberta Reichgelt, Christine Reichgelt Spencer, and Casey Reichgelt, and Great-Grandmother of five; Jaxon Bartok, and Gavin and Harper Reichgelt, Theo Reichgelt Teixeira, and Casey Spenser.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents, George Renner Sr. and Margaret Weigel Leasman, and her husband Robert.

Marian is survived by her brother George Renner Jr. of La Crosse, and sister Audrey Anderson of San Diego, two sons-in-law; Jerry Weigel and Jim Horan, and two daughters-in-law; Cyndy Pahl Reichgelt and Laura Paulson Reichgelt, and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by everyone who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday July 7, 2021, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Lisa Shank will officiate. A private family internment will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse.
