Margaret Wing

Margaret "Peggy" M. Wing, age 86 of LaCrosse, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Winona, Minnesota, March 12, 1938, the daughter of Margaret and Lloyd Cowan.

Peggy married Richard Wing January 19, 1957 in Trempealeau, Wisconsin. She graduated from Trempealeau High School in 1956. She lived in Beloit, Trempealeau, LaCrosse and was a member of St. James the Less Catholic Church.

Peggy is survived by her five children, Renee (Stan) Krajewski, Barbara Wing, Richelle (Dan) Brown, Maureen (Todd) Baumgartner, Thomas Wing, fifteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, two sisters, Vivian and Theresa. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Mary and Karen, two grandsons Robert and Andrew Brown, three sisters and two brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Friday, February 28 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1032 Caledonia Street, LaCrosse. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Peggy will be buried next to her husband, Richard at Gate of Heaven Cemetery following Mass. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Matt Janisch, Jeremy Janisch, Jonathon Brown, Jason Brown, Steven Collins, Daniel Baumgartner.
