COCHRAN, Luke Charles
Luke Charles Cochran, 26, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away on October 11, 2018. Luke was born on September 22, 1992, to Margaret Grenisen and John Cochran. Luke attended Cathedral Elementary School; he graduated from Aquinas High School in 2011.
He is survived by his parents, Margaret and John, his sisters, Caitlin and Madeline, his grandparents, James and Rita Grenisen, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Claire, and his paternal grandparents, Kathy and Corby Cochran.
Luke’s infectious joy touched many lives. His creativity, sense of humor, and childlike goodness impacted all he encountered. Luke had a pure and innocent spirit. He enjoyed singing and doing impersonations; he loved holidays and being a part of family gatherings. He was a good and reliable worker at Kwik Trip, where he had worked since 2014. He loved living in La Crosse and making daily visits to his favorite shops.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15, at noon, at San Damiano Chapel on the Viterbo Campus. Father Conrad Targonski will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the Blaschke-Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South, on Sunday, October 14, from 4:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Rosary will precede the visitation at 4 p.m. A visitation will also be held from 11:00 AM on until the time of Mass at Church on Monday.
Memorials are preferred to Aquinas Catholic Schools and Chileda Institute.
