Kathryn 'Kay' M. Roesler

Kathryn ‘Kay’ M. Roesler, 71, of St. Joseph’s Ridge, died, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Rochester, MN. She was born on October 29, 1952, in Caledonia, MN, to John and Alice (Tessmer) Mullen. She married Arlan Roesler at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brownsville, MN, on November 26, 1977.

She attended Brownsville Elementary School until 5^th grade, when her family moved to Brice Prairie. She graduated from Holmen High School in 1970. Following high school, she moved to La Crosse and worked at Outers, then Bluff View Motel. She then worked at St. Joe’s Country Market for over 30 years until the time of her death, where she took amazing pride in catering delicious meals for different events. Everyone looked forward to seeing her smiling face. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, gambling, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and spending time with her family. She loved spending her birthday weekends with her best friend Patty.

She is survived by her husband Arlan Roesler; children Jessica (Scott) Kuderer, Joshua (Samantha) Roesler, and Scott (Jodi) Roesler; grandchildren, Matthew and Alexander Kuderer, Jackson, Brennon, Colton, and Greyson Roesler, and Martin and Madelyn Roesler. She is also survived by her siblings, Jane (Randy) Julian, Nancy Anderson, Dave Mullen, Dan (Candace Braswell) Mullen, Rich (Sue) Mullen, Joe Mullen, Pat Mullen, and Susan Williams; brother-in-law Eugene (Mary Ann) Roesler, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws Martin and Georgina Roesler; brother John Mullen, and her brother-in-law Eric Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Lee Williams and nephew John Williams.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 AM, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Church, W2601 WI-33, St. Joseph Ridge, La Crosse. Rev. Biju Channala Kunjukutty will officiate with entombment to take place in St. Joseph Cemetery following Mass. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 AM, until the time of Mass at Church on Wednesday.
