Kathleen E. DuPae

La Crosse

Kathleen E. DuPae, 85, of La Crosse, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday December 29, 2013, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. She was born in Pipestone, Minn., to Duncan and Katherin (McEachern) McLeod, and she married Ralph DuPae on November 23, 1948 at St. Columbia Catholic Church in Iona Minn.

 

She is survived by four daughters; Bonnie (James) Reese of Des Plaines, IL., Denise (Osborn) Shackelford of Peoria Az., Michelle (Will) Claypool, of St. Croix Falls, Wis., and Ann (Terry) Best of La Crosse, Wis., 12 Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by one Brother; Donald (Sontiya) McLeod of La Crosse, Wis.

 

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Ralph, one son Joseph January 27, 1991, her parents, 2 sisters Alice and Ramona, a half sister Mary Margaret, and a brother Alex.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday January 3, 2014 at the Chapel in Oak Grove Cemetery, 1407 La Crosse St, La Crosse, Wis. with entombment to be held in the Garden Mausoleum at Oak Grove Cemetery, Msgr. Steve Kachel will officiate. Friends and Family may call from 10:30 AM until the time of services.
