After the war, she was a stay at home mother until accepting a teaching position at St. Thomas More. In 1970, she became accountant for Cargill Heating and Air Conditioning until her retirement in 1987.

June is survived by one son, Michael (Jane), two grandchildren, Erin Colsch and Megan (Troy) Harcey and 5 grandchildren, Paige and Nathan Colsch and Maxwell, Aiden and Emmerson Harcey. She is further survived by Kathy Spelker. Though not related, Kathy was certainly a part of June’s family.
