ERICKSON, JoAnn M.

JoAnn M. Erickson, 78, passed away March 31, 2014. She was born in La Crosse. She was a graduate of Holy Cross Grade School, Aquinas High School and Viterbo University.

She is survived by her eight children, Dianne, Patti, John, Mary, Paul, Bob,

Dan and Dave and their spouses; 18 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Other survivors include her sister Pat and her family, several cousins, friends and neighbors.

Private family services will be held in the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, followed by entombment in the Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Holy Trinity Leo Hall fund.

For when the heart’s an open wound

Its greatest threat, I fear

Is that the salt rubbed into it

Does come from one’s own tears
