Joan A. Soller

Joan A. Soller, age 86, of La Crosse, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Bethany Riverside, in La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on October 8, 1930, to Elmer and Margaret (Burcum) Helvig. She married Raymond Soller on October 4, 1958, in St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral, in La Crosse.

Joan loved animals and volunteered at the Humane Society. She also volunteered at local schools. She worked at the Gateway Glass Company and retired from Northern Micro Graphics.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Laurie Soller, of West Salem; two grandchildren, Jared (Linda) Soller, of La Crosse, and Kristin (Tim) Peterson, of Sparta, and one great-grandchild, Jenson Soller. She is also survived by one nephew, Mike (Enid) Bergum, of Aurora, CO; and three nieces, Janan (Dave) Vinger, of Weyauwega, WI, Jenny Soller, of La Crosse, and Judy (Bob) Woods, of North Carolina.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, son Gregory, her parents, one sister, Joyce, and her step-mother Grace.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, June 19, 2017, in the Catholic Cemetery, in La Crosse. Rev. Scott Skogen will officiate.
