Janet Mae Gardner

Janet Mae (Beier) Gardner, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Gundersen Lutheran Health System. She was born on October 27, 1941 to Louie and Vivian (Marcou) Beier. She spent all of her life in La Crosse.

She married Robert (Butch) Gardner on August 20, 1987. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1997.

Janet was a very loving and caring person. She was always ready to give and never asked anything in return. You could ask a lot of people and they would have many good stories to tell about her. She loved the Wisconsin Scratch Off tickets, puzzles, and singing good old country songs.

She is survived by one son; Bobby Beier, and two daughters; Joan (Buddy) La Fond, and Rosie (Craig) Finn, all of La Crosse. Three grandchildren; Kimberly La Fond, Vash and Evelyn Finn. She is also survived by one brother; Marvin Beier of La Crosse, and many nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister; Rhoda Hoff, and her sister-in-law; Millie Beier.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South, La Crosse, Wis. Deacon Richard Sage will officiate. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.
