VANG, Gao Jer Joann

Gao Jer Joann Vang, 15, of Onalaska died on July 1, 2018, in Winona County. She was born on December 15, 2002, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Xao Vang and Mai Vang.

She enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball, being with friends, eating food, listening to music and helping people with a smile on her face.

Gao Jer is survived by her parents; three sisters, Tina, Mai Doua and Gao Nou; and two brothers George and Yeng Kong.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather.

Funeral services will start on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 9:00 AM and run continuously through Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Hmong Culture Community Center, 1815 Ward Ave., La Crosse, Wis. Burial will be held on the morning of July 16, 2018, in the Onalaska City Cemetery.
