Frederick Lachman

The family of Frederick James Lachman, 71, of La Crosse, WI, is

saddened to announce his passing on October 25, 2024. Fred

was born on September 10, 1953 to Jerome and Pauline

Lachman of La Crosse, WI.

Fred is survived by his three children, Tina (Travis) Scharmach,

Nicole (Jay) Reinan, and Jeff (Leah) Lachman and his

grandchildren, Lily, Finley, Lucy, Carter, Nash and Rylie. As well

as his siblings, Jerry (Bonnie) Lachman, Elizabeth Woods, Chris

(Tammy) Lachman, Steve (Leesa) Lachman, Mike (Sue)

Lachman, Jane (Tom) Buss, James Lachman, Laurie Lachman

(Dan Petersen), and Ann Lachman (Troy Steers). He is preceded

in death by his sisters, Gail Solberg and Mary Baldassare.

Fred's life was one of spirit and quick wit, a life lived in the present

moment. Forever a dedicated fan, Fred's unwavering loyalty to all

Wisconsin teams, especially his beloved Green Bay Packers, was

legendary among family and friends.

Fred's love for cooking and good food brought warmth and joy to

those around him. He delighted in sharing meals and all things

culinary with family and friends.

Fred's legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew him, reminding us all to laugh and savor each moment. 

He will be  greatly missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held on Sunday, November

10th, 2024, at 4:30 pm at the Black River Beach Neighborhood

Center, 1433 Rose St, La Crosse, WI 54603. We will hold a

designated service at 6:00 pm.
