Betty Hutzenbuehler passed away on January 9th at her home. Betty was born on January 19, 1931, at her grandparents farm in Westby. As a small child she lived on her grandparents farm and later lived with her Aunt Inga in La Crosse. She married Robert Hutzenbuehler.
She worked at the Bodega and Gundersen Lutheran. She spent many years caring for her grandchildren as well. She enjoyed a little travel in her life, cooking, Days of Our Lives, and circle-a-words. Most of all she enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She was known to so many as Ma Hutz or Gramma Hutz. She had a contagious smile and her eyes would light up. She maintained a sense of humor throughout her entire life and she was always so loving and appreciative. She will be deeply missed.
The family she created includes son; David(Laurel), grandchildren; Jon, Josh, Jeremy, great grandchildren; Cameron and Quinton; son; Daniel (Diane), grandchildren; Danielle(Derrick), Melissa, Jonah(Stephanie), Shawna, great grandchildren; Bekah, Maggie, Calli, Ayala, Lilly, Aydin, Silas, Micah; daughter; Diane, grandchildren; Angela and Christopher, great grandson; Christopher Jr.; daughter; Dawn(Steven), grandchildren; Mark(Colleen), Dana(Samuel), Shawn, great grandchildren; Dylan, Lydia, Jayden, Jossalyn, Preston, Parker, Anthony; son; Dennis(Julie), grandchildren; Cory(Allison), Katie(Joseph), great grandchildren; Olive and Riley. She also leaves behind many other close relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Signe Seeley, her husband Robert, her children Daniel, Diane, and Dennis, and her granddaughter Angela.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the many, many caring and thoughtful people who have provided cares to Betty over the years.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 (Noon) Saturday, January 13, 2018, in the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Homes, 1501 West Ave., So., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Curtis Miller will officiate with burial to be held in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of services in the funeral home of Saturday. A celebration of life will take place at Snuffy’s around 2:00 pm following the burial.
