Trussoni, Edward M.
Edward Max Trussoni, 60, of DeSoto, WI, died Saturday, November 29, 2014, while doing what he loved best-Hunting. Edward was born on Feb 5, 1954 to Lawrence and Laurena (Beyer) Trussoni. He married Janis Burke on Oct. 18, 1975 and together they had two sons, Vincente and Derrek. Janis preceded Ed in death on Nov. 24, 1995. He later married Mary T. Crowley on Oct. 9, 2004. Together they loved to travel, golf, fish, and be with family.
Ed worked at Dairyland Power Cooperative for 35 years and recently retired on Dec. 28, 2013. He was a member of the American Legion and DeSoto Lion’s Club. Ed’s passion was hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was most happy when he was in the woods and outdoors. He loved nature.
Ed had the natural ability to communicate, build, design, and as he would say… “Figure it out.â€
He is survived by his wife Mary, sons Vincente and Derrek; Brothers and Sisters; Naomi Roberts, Barry (Carole), Jerome (Judy), Ruth (Tom) Lucas, Larry (Sharon), Jeanette Amundson, and Fritz “Al†(Deb). Ed is also survived by his Mother-in-law; Patricia Crowley, Brothers-in-laws; Daniel (Bonnie) Crowley, and Thomas (Debra) Crowley, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and his beloved Beagle, Buc Wheat.
His family was the most important thing to Ed and he showed that every day. He would do anything for anyone.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Janis, Nephews; Larry Trainer, Nicholas Roberts, Troy, and Tyler Trussoni, and his Father-in-law; Daniel Crowley.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 701 Walnut St., Genoa, WI. Rev. William A. Dhein and Rev. Robert J. Cook will concelebrate. Burial with military honors by the American Legion Post 246 will be held immediately following Mass at St. Charles Cemetery, Genoa, WI. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave, S., La Crosse, WI, and also from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass on Thursday at Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the St. Charles Borromeo Church, Genoa, WI, or a charity of preference.
