Daniel R. Vinson

Daniel “Dano” R. Vinson, 48, of La Crosse, Wis., died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Mayo Health System, La Crosse, Wis.

He was surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in La Crosse, Wis., on March 5, 1969, to Jody Betz. Dano married his childhood sweetheart, Dawn La Fleur on June 14, 2003, in Madison, Wis. They have been together for a total of 25 years. Dano loved spending his time with his friends and family.  He was the protector of all his nieces and nephews and loved them as if they were his own.

He is survived by his wife; Dawn, of La Crosse, Wis., one daughter; Destiny and a fur baby Bear of La Crosse, Wis., dad Tom (Mary) Betz of Onalaska, Wis., and two sisters; Dawn (Bill) Veley of Onalaska, Wis., and Michelle Betz of North Pole, Alaska.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Dan is also survived by three brothers–in-law; Daniel (Tammy) LaFleur, David (Kris) LaFleur, and Randy (Angela) Koster. As well as his mother-in-law Joyce Olloff.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jody, one uncle, Randy Houlihan and his fur baby Buddy.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 12, 2018. More details will follow at a later date.
