Dan Parisey, 43 of La Crosse passed away December 20, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Dan was a dedicated father who loved his family, his dogs and the Milwaukee Brewers. Dan never hesitated to talk about how proud he was of his son Evan. He shared an incredible bond with his brother Chris and they loved nothing more than making each other laugh. Sitting down with family for long conversations and impromptu sing-alongs brought them all so much joy. Dan worked hard to carry on the legacy of The Popcorn Tavern knowing the life-long connections that were made there for countless people over the years. He always appreciated the loving support in both life and with the business provided by his parents Dave and Karen. Dan's inner peace was found in the outdoors, while cruising the river and at the family cabin up North. He was someone who was able to make individual connections and have inside jokes and memorable moments with so many people. Dan's unfailingly genuine honest spirit, generosity, loyalty and singular sense of humor will be missed by the many who
had the privilege of calling him friend.
Dan was proceeded in death by his grandparents, his cherished aunt Kathy and his beloved dog Annabelle. He is survived by his son Evan, his wife Katie, his parents Dave and Karen Parisey, his brother Chris (Jade) Parisey, his sister Cindy (Bob) Riedel, loving nieces and nephews and a large extended family including dedicated friends he considered family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital who provided such compassionate care for Dan and unwavering support for his loved ones during this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 15th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Bridges United Methodist Church, 308 S. 4th Street, La Crosse
In the meantime, the family would like to formally
