Clifford Johnsen

Clifford N. Johnsen, 87, of La Crosse, Wis., and formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, in St. Joseph’s Rehab Center, La Crosse, Wis. He married Mary Dryer on August 20, 1949, in Minneapolis.

He served our country in WWII in the US Army. Clifford was employed at Trane Co. until his retirement in 1986.

He is survived by two daughters; Dianne (Greg) Fisher, and Joan (Dave) Dickie, one son; Greg (Delanie) Johnsen , five grandchildren; Michael (Sonia) Johnsen, Nicholas Johnsen, Matt Bragd, Stefanie (Chris) Fulgham and Alysse (John) Lorence, three great-grandchildren; Winter Grace Johnsen, Daniel Johnsen and Finley Lorence. He is further survived by one sister; Cathy (Tom) Mc Andrews of Cincinnati, Ohio, one sister-in-law; Shirl Johnsen of Chicago, Ill, and his special friend; Fay Sullivan of Richfield, Minn. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, one infant daughter Nancy, and two brothers Kenneth and Robert Johnsen.

Committal services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012, in Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Robert Cook will officiate. A funeral Mass will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2012, in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church,  4537 3rd Avenue South  Minneapolis, Minn. Rev. James Cassidy `will officiate.
