Claron F. Smith

Claron Floyd Smith, 76, of La Crosse, died on Friday, July 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born on December 22, 1942 to Floyd and Winnifred (Thorp) Smith in La Crosse.

He is survived by his children; Asa L. (Misty) Smith of Tomah, Cindy A. Smith of La Crosse, and Adam J. Smith of La Crosse, three grandchildren; Stacy, Shawn, and Desere, four great-grandchildren, his sister; Gloria J. (Timothy) Nutter, and four nieces; Brandie Korn of California, Elizabeth Leitzke of La Crosse, Mindy of Winona, and Melanie of Sheboygan.

Claron was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers George L. (Nancy) Smith and Ivan D. Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 5, 2019, in Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home – Nelson Chapel, 1007 Caledonia St., La Crosse, Wis. Chaplain Eric Nobrega will officiate with burial to be held in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of Services at the Funeral Home.

The family would like to give a special thank you to nurses Danielle and Jamie and his niece Melanie who all took amazing care of Claron when he needed it.
