Bonny J. Wavra

Bonny J. Wavra, Age 90, of Trempealeau Wisconsin, formerly of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Monday November 25, 2013. She married Joseph L. Wavra Sr. in 1947 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Bonny graduated from Galesville High School in 1942 and St. Francis School of Nursing in 1947. Through her life in Trempealeau, she enjoyed and relished the many new friendships she found with some very special people. Her days were spent relaxing with a good book or magazine, watching “Fox News” or viewing the wildlife that included song birds, deer, and turkeys.

Bonny is survived by her daughters: Her grandchildren: Christopher Holm, Erik Holm, Leif (Elizabeth) Holm, and Einar Holm, Her great grandchildren:

Bonny was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Mary Jo, her sister Claire, and her parents.

Family and friends may call from 5:30 to 8:00 PM on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:30 PM. Rev. James Kurzynski will officiate with private burial to be held in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Gundersen Medical Foundation or Viterbo University.
