Bernie is survived by his wife, Delia, and five children: Rod (Coletta Mulvihill Bina) and their four children, Kelly, Sean, Colette, and Gabrielle; Janine “Jane” Bina, Gloria (John Sampson) and son, Todd; Mark Bina, and Kathy Fitzsimmons (Greg Harwood) and sons Kevin and Craig. Bernie was also very fond of his twelve great grandchildren. Bernie is also survived by his brothers, Tom, Leo, Jim, and Joe and his sister Margaret Bahr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clara Bina, Odelia’s parents Peter and Mary Hundt; and many in-laws, extended family members, and friends for whom he felt great fondness.

Bernie was always an avid sports fan. He loved watching baseball and often traveled to Florida with his wife Odelia for the Grapefruit League. He also loved bowling and golf. He really enjoyed the senior leagues at Pine Creek and the Walsh golf center and made many lasting friends there.
